The film is intended for educational use by an aquarium, but there are plans further down the line for a potential television broadcast for it. Exciting stuff!
One of the projects I've taken on recently is the storyboard art/revisions for an educational film about ocean acidification. There's an existing animatic, but they want me to give it more life and give the characters more personality before they send a final thing to the client and move into full production. I should be getting an updated/final script today to work from, and hopefully will be able to get that done within the next week.
The film is intended for educational use by an aquarium, but there are plans further down the line for a potential television broadcast for it. Exciting stuff! So, a short while ago on This is Normal, I had a 7-page story arc about how a fictional version of my girlfriend lost her tail. That inspired a number of other comics - much shorter arcs, 1-3 pages long each, like this one: I'm seriously considering doing a whole series of these, and then getting it printed in a comicbook format - proper paperback and everything. I've already looked up quotes from bookprintinguk.com, and it seems extremely reasonably priced.
This may well be a project I do in the background between other more significant projects.
I've just entered the British Animation Awards Stings competition. The basic theme was that it had to involve sheep, and their logo - other than that it could be any form of animation between 4 and 30 seconds.

So my Second Year film, "Under the Weather" is currently in a sort of release limbo - I can't post it anywhere until I know whether or not it's going to be entered into the Depict! competition of the Encounters Short Film and Animation festival, but submission for entries likely doesn't open until February, so there's still a few more weeks to wait before I get to show it off. Fingers crossed, though! Could be a great opportunity if it gets shortlisted!
